The practice has an open list and you are welcome to register.  We do not discriminate on the grounds of race, religion, social class, age sexual orientation, appearance, disability or medical condition.  To register with the practice you must live within the practice boundaries of the INVERCLYDE AREA.

If you move out of the area you will need to register with another GP practice, we shall provide information on how to find another doctor if needed.  You are registered with the practice and not an individual doctor.  When requesting an appointment you can ask for the doctor of your choice although they may not always be available.

Once you have signed the registration document you will be required to make an appointment with the practice nurse or our health care support worker for a medical assessment. This has been amended due to Covid 19 and your application will be processed without being seen . We will get your medical records from your previous practice and they will be reviewed .

During Covid 19 pandemic registration may be subject to suspension as to change practice can result is the Health Board being unable to contact you and your vaccinations missed . Please only change practice if you live locally if its essential.

We no longer register patients from the PA19 area . Existing patients will not be affected by this change.

However, you can at any time express a preference for a particular doctor for either all of your medical needs or on a case-by-case basis. However, not all the doctors in the practice provide all services and specific doctors may not be immediately available.

The practice has implemented a zero tolerance policy in regards to violence and abusive behaviour towards other patients and
staff. Patients found to be behaving in a threatening or agressive manner, directing obscene language directed at doctors and other staff, misuse of medication & chronic defaulters will be removed from the practice list. The practice will notify the patient in
writing and instruct them on how to register with another practice. Once you have been notified that you are being removed
from our list the practice is responsible for your care for 7 days from the date on the letter.
